Emily Leppert – Senior VP, Asset Management
Emily Leppert is Senior Vice President, Asset Management for Domain Communities. An energetic executive, Ms. Leppert possesses nearly $1 billion of transaction activity and fifteen years of experience in all aspects of residential real estate, including raw land, single family and infill site development, master planned communities, multifamily asset management, and homebuilder finance. Throughout her career, Ms. Leppert worked for small and mid-sized firms, encouraging them to embrace technology (Excel, Argus Developer, LoopNet, Meyers/Zonda, REIS, and numerous others), to ensure institutional-quality underwriting, reporting and standards at all times. This commitment to excellence serves her well in her current role where she is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s property management, reporting and investor relations.
Prior to working at Domain, Ms. Leppert served as a principal, managing director, or key executive in a handful of boutique real estate investment firms. She has underwritten, conducted due diligence, participated in fundraising activities, and composed private placement memoranda for a wide variety of residential and commercial acquisitions. Additionally, as asset manager for the majority of her projects, she developed standardized asset management reports, supervised teams of analysts and property managers, overseen annual budget preparations and GAAP-based accounting audits, and managed investor relations, reporting and quarterly inspections.
Ms. Leppert is a full member of the Urban Land Institute and a member of its Community Development Council. She holds an active real estate license in the State of Arizona, and is a member of the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Ms. Leppert earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Economics from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
