The previous owner of Midtown on Main filed bankruptcy to protect the property from foreclosure and repossession during the Great Recession. The property was cash starved and suffered from deferred maintenance. Domain was able to negotiate a contract to purchase the distressed property at a belowmarket-value price before it was marketed by a broker.

The property and its units were then extensively renovated. The clubhouse was reconfigured and remodeled, and an unused 10,000 sq. ft. structure was converted into a state-of-the-art fitness and resident center. The pool areas were improved with new furniture and decks, and BBQ areas were added along with a dog park and a ‘zen’ garden with water features.
